The Rose

This was one of my first digital pictures and remains one of my favorites. It was taken in Golden Colorado at the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office AARS Rose Garden in, as I recall, June or July of 2001. This image was captured using a Sony MVC-CD1000. A very sharp image capturing 2.1MP camera.

I use Cam2PC to get most of my images from my CF card to the PC. Cam2PC has two versions. One is FREE and the other isnt. Take a look and see if its something you might want to use.

My last utility is Neat Image. Neat Image is a digital filter designed to reduce visible noise in digital photographic images. It is a tool for owners of digital cameras, flatbed and slide scanners; and is for use by both professional photographers, and digital image processing enthusiasts.

Neat Image not only reduces the high ISO noise associated with image sensors (CMOS, CCD) in digital cameras and scanners, it can also reduce the film grain visible in scanned slides and negatives, JPEG artifacts of overcompressed images, and color banding, and at the same time makes images sharper. Neat Image is indispensable in low-light, sport, and action photography.

Fire Calla Lilly

Fire Calla Lilly. Taken today. I realize that the lighting is a bit flat and I apologize for that. This was taken as a storm again moved past. 

Storm

A storm moved through my area tonight (060904) and I was able to catch this shot of the lightning. Some areas received up to three inches of rain from the storm as well as a large amount of hail... so much that snow ploughs had to be called out to get it off the interstate. Ya gotta love Colroado weather. 

Kelly

This is Kelly, a 400+ pound Lowland Gorilla. He lives at the Denver Zoo. This shot was taken through safety glass with a 70-300mm zoom lense. 

Lakewood Colorado police car. This shot was taken a few years back when LPD went to this design. Recently they came out with a black/white color scheme that I have yet to get a shot of.
